x64bit and x32bit of windows 7

Hi,

when I installed my desktop for windows 7, there was a choice to pick if 64 and 86, so I picked 86 because I thought it's more advanced. I play Dota 2 and other PC games and I have a good computer, but sometimes it feels off 'cause occasional lags would appear. Is there a difference between x32bit and x64bit when it comes to performance with games or videos ?

Please help.
